Audi inaugurates new state-of-the-art service facility in Mumbai
- New state-of-the-art service facility located at CST Road, Kalina, Santacruz (East), Mumbai
- Spread over an area of more than 40,000 sq ft including covered service bays of 22,000 sq ft, housing service and body shop facilities
- Second Audi workshop in Mumbai
Mumbai - Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer today announced the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art service facility in Mumbai. This is the second service facility for the brand in Mumbai. The facility was inaugurated by Mr. Benoit Tiers, Managing Director, Audi India.
“World class products need premium service and maintenance and this second state-of-the art facility in Mumbai will set a new benchmark for service standards in the luxury car segment” said Benoit Tiers, Managing Director, Audi India.
“Our philosophy of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ is not just about advanced technology, but also about the perfection we strive for in our service standards. The new facility in Mumbai reflects this ideology and reaffirms our commitment to Audi owners,” he added.
The service facility meets Audi’s rigid standards of technology and workmanship. It is equipped with latest tools and sophisticated equipment, imported from various parts of the world.
Spread over an area of more than 40,000 sq ft including covered service bays of 22,000 sq ft, housing service and body shop facilities, it has a capacity to service 22 cars per day and an additional capacity of 6 bays for accidental care. The technicians, trained by Audi, ensure the proper use of approved repair equipment, tools and technologies to meet Audi standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anand Rao, Managing Director, Audi Mumbai West said, “We are delighted to offer this world class after sales service facility, modeled on global parameters, to Audi customers in Mumbai. The brand Audi has enjoyed good customer response in Mumbai and the opening of this facility will enable us to carry forward the Audi brand promise of world class products and premium service to our customers.”
New showroom for Mumbai West is planned to be opened in the coming few weeks. The entire Audi model range, comprising the Audi A4, the new Audi A6, the Audi A8, the Audi Q5, the new Audi Q7, the Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8 is available at eight showrooms across the country: in Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kochi. New showroom openings in the beginning of 2010 include Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur, Chennai and Ludhiana. Further developments include Lucknow, Coimbatore and Nagpur.
