The Audi R8 LMS bodywork is made from carbon fiber, the doorsand roof are production aluminum parts with safety structures. In this way the race car’s weight is trimmed purposefully.
Audi Sport tested, developed and put the R8 LMS through its paces in a 24-hour race at, among other tracks, the Nürburgringincluding the Nordschleife. The result: Great reliability, absolute safety andperfect handling.
