Audi India concludes Eighth edition of the Audi National Twin Cup
• 114 teams comprising of 301 Audi dealer technicians and service advisors from 33 dealerships competed for the India championship • Thrilling competition in the categories of technology and service • Audi Bhubaneshwar tops in Technology category while Audi Kolkata wins top honor in Service category • Audi Bhubaneshwar also won the twin Category-Introduced for the first time in India • Audi India teams had showcased strength of Audi’s after-sales service at the recently held world finals of the Audi Twin Cup 2018
Mumbai, December 17, 2018: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, held the eighth edition of the Audi Twin Cup with participation from 33 Audi dealerships across India. A total of 114 teams comprising of 301 Audi dealer technicians and service advisors competed for the coveted championship titles. Six technical and six service teams made it to the exciting finals where the team from Audi Bhubaneshwar bagged the top spot in the TWIN category which was introduced for the first time in India. Audi Bhubaneshwar also bagged the top spot in Technology category and Audi Kolkata topped in the Service category. Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India handed over the Audi Twin cup trophy to the winners of Service category, while Mr. Alexis Joseph, Head Aftersales, Audi India handed over the Audi Twin Cup trophy to the Technology category winning team in a glittering ceremony held at the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, on December 13th , 2018.

We have invested extensively in training our staff and the initiatives over the years for strengthening the service levels has worked brilliantly, with our teams displaying outstanding technical know-how and consistent customer focus. This clearly reflected in the excellent performance of the teams representing Audi India at the recently concluded World championship of the Audi Twin Cup 2018,” said Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head Audi India.
The Audi Twin Cup tests the customer orientation and technical knowledge of the participants. The technicians and service advisors compete in the areas of diagnostics and repair, as well as in personal customer support. In addition to specialist competence, close and efficient cooperation between service advisors and service technicians is the primary determining factor in achieving top performance in the realistic work situations.
In the keenly contested India finals of the eighth edition of the Audi Twin Cup, the team from Audi Bhubaneshwar exhibited exemplary technical & service skills to emerge as a winner in the category of Technology and Twin, while Audi Kolkata demonstrated their expert service skills to bag the title in the Service category. The team from India will compete with around 70 teams from 38 countries at the World Finals in 2019 that will be held in Europe.
“This year too, the competition had been fierce amongst the competing teams with excellent demonstration of technical knowledge and service coordination. The competing teams achieve first-class results through optimal cooperation between service technicians in the workshop and service advisors interacting with the customer. The winners have to deliver on a framework moderated by AUDI AG validating that the Audi service in India is at par with other markets internationally. Audi India is committed to enhancing the ownership experience and ensuring that every touch point is managed in a way that’s relevant and meaningful to today’s customer,” added Mr. Ansari.
Outstanding technical know-how and consistent customer focus led to victory for the Audi India team of service technicians and advisors in the recently held finals of the International Audi Twin Cup 2018. In the Technology Category, the Audi team from India comprising of members from Audi Ludhiana, Audi Karnal and Audi Bangalore secured 2nd rank. While Service team consisting of members from Audi Bangalore, Audi Delhi South and Audi Mumbai South secured 5th rank. The twin team secured 5th rank at the global platform which consisted of 67 teams from 34 countries.
The Audi Twin Cup is held every year worldwide since 1996 and sees participation from all members of the Audi dealer network.

The values declared for the vehicles have been obtained from one of the variant tested as per Central Motor Vehicle Rule 115. Fuel consumption and emission value for other variants may differ. Audi India or its authorize dealers shall not be held liable for any difference in fuel consumption values, due to any of the aforesaid variables.
