Thane/Mumbai, March 15, 2019: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer today announced the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art service facility in Thane. Spread over a total area of 32,000 sq. ft., the Audi Service Thane boasts of 22 bays and houses an exclusive state-of-the-art body shop facility. The new service facility will further strengthen the brand’s commitment towards customers in Thane and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
“We are accelerating our network growth this year with the launch of our latest showroom in Hyderabad recently and now with the addition of this state-of-the-art service facility in Thane. We are further planning to launch a new service facility as part of our Workshop-First strategy in Vijayawada in the near future. Creating additional touchpoints for delivering service and improving access in the regions of future growth will help us to gain the utmost benefits in the coming 3 to 5 years, when our India strategy and the market unfold a higher potential,” said Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India.

Audi Thane is a world class service facility, spread across an impressive 32,000 Sq. ft., and meets Audi’s rigid standards of technology and workmanship. The workshop has a capacity to service 44 cars per day in a single shift on a total 22 bays. The technicians, trained by Audi, ensure the efficient upkeep of Audi vehicles with approved equipment, tools and technologies to meet the Audi standards.

“The specified values of fuel consumption and emission are determined according to the mandatory emission test measurement specified in Rule 115 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989 (CMVR), under controlled conditions using reference fuel, at an agency authorized under Rule 126 of CMVR. Fuel consumption and emission values may vary due to factors such as driving habits, road and traffic condition, fuel quality, maintenance practices, loading pattern, ambient condition and engineering tolerances etc.
The values declared for the vehicles have been obtained from one of the variant tested as per Central Motor Vehicle Rule 115. Fuel consumption and emission value for other variants may differ. Audi India or its authorize dealers shall not be held liable for any difference in fuel consumption values, due to any of the aforesaid variables.
